Our Philosophy on Sports Performance & Conditioning

Young athletes are being injured at an alarming rate and their dreams of succeeding are being crushed at an early age. There is also a growing epidemic of childhood obesity that is threatening the physical, mental and emotional state of our children. This is where we at Robinson Physical Therapy and Health Center can help. Our goal is to give individuals of all ages and sporting levels the necessary building blocks to be active and successful at their sports and everyday activities.

Some professionals will use certain tools to identify the risks of injury and some will use these same tools to help increase performance. We here at Robinson Physical Therapy and Health Center use a system that does both.

Our programs allow for injury prevention and increase in functional performance in a fun, developmentally sound, and goal oriented way. The philosophies and techniques we use can be implemented as early as 6 years old and have been used to train professionals, collegiate, and Olympic athletes.

Our Conditioning Programs

One-on-One Personal Training: $80.00/hour 1st visit / evaluation – $65.00/hour
The one-on-one session will provide an initial evaluation, BMI evaluation, FMS screening as well as Cincinnati Sports medicine Sportsmetrics screening. A workout plan will be designed specifically for you and your goals. The program covers all facets of exercise and will be an hour in duration.

4 Week Program: 2 x week : $425.00/ 3 x week : $625.00
Programs will be one-on-one sessions that consist of an hour of exercise. This four-week program will consist of everything included in a one time personal training session (see above) but progressed over a four-week time frame.

Monthly Conditioning: $75.00/month
This includes use of all our gym equipment at your own discretion. An appointment is still recommended, with in our office hours.

• All programs will implement forms of free weight, kettlebell, plyometric, cardiovascular, speed, agility, core strength, and proprioception training.
• All programs will include an FMS Screening (functional movement screening)
• All programs will include a general body assessment and BMI (body mass index) and nutritional information
• All programs will include IYCA (International Youth Conditioning Association) based protocols.
• All programs are custom designed and tailored to fit your needs based on your testing/screening scores, As well as your personal goals and/or sport.
• All programs will include a Sportsmetric Analysis of Jumping Mechanics. Which is an ACL injury prevention program.
• All programs can be formatted for any sport or activity you will be training and working towards.
• All screenings and assessments are NOT included in the monthly conditioning program.
